How tuition works
Here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the class and how many classes a week a dancer takes. The age group, the length of the class and whether it is a dance class or a drum lesson all play a part. Our figures are on the registration page, and we are glad to talk them through on the phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for you or your dancer and the studio's insurance. It is due when you register for your first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by autopay, or by the session if you would rather pay once. Adult evenings can also be paid by the session.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register, and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same level, or the level just below it, within the same session. Book it at the front desk or by message.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Dancers in the spring performance choose a wrap and a head tie, ordered in the winter and billed before the performance in May. The performance has a production charge for each dancer, and guests need tickets. Classes are danced in bare feet or soft shoes the family already owns, and drums in class are the studio's to borrow. We don't enter competitions, so there are no entries or travel.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a dancer leaves, so we can offer the place to someone on the waitlist. A wrap that has already been ordered for the performance is still billed.
